Mission Impossible

Jade, Mel, and I have officially signed up to participate in what is more or less an “adult scavenger hunt” this Saturday evening: Prototype161.

Your story begins here. Prototype161 seeks creative, resourceful, and daring individuals to serve as agents in our ongoing investigations.

You will track down clues, solve puzzles, and interrogate suspects. You’ll scour a city to find the answers. You’ll compete against other agents to solve the case first.

In short, we get six hours to pretend we are secret agent spies and go on obscure missions searching for God knows what.

After going through a list of possible team names that included “Powerpuff Girls,” “Down Ass Bitches,” and “Drunk Girls in the Corner,” (all my suggestions, what did you think) we settled on “Free Riders.” Jade said we didn’t want to be judged and all. In case they read our team name out loud.

So “Free Riders” it is, because it sounds appropriately badass. For the record, I think the name really conveys our whole common-citizens-turned-superhero-girls-clad-in-black-leather-outfits theme that we’re planning on going with. Well, Agent Jade007 and Agent Mel don’t know about the theme’s dress code yet but they’ll find out as soon as they read my blog.
